07. November 2016The Swiss Nightlife Award 2016 is coming closer which means it’s time, to vote for your favourite nominee again! The Academy already has chosen a top 20 for you in the following categories:
Main category: Events
- Best Event Serie (public voting only)
- Best Event
- Best Big Event
Main category: DJs
- Best Open Format DJ
- Best EDM DJ
- Best Electronica DJ
Main category: Locations
- The Nightlife Bar (presented by Dettling & Marmot)
- Best Club
- Best Big Club
Main category: Special Awards
- Best Festival (public voting only)
- Best New Location (presented by Carlsberg)
- Lifetime Award (academy voting only)
- White Owl Award (academy voting only)
The votes of the Public and the Academy are counted 50% each. The «Lifetime Award» as well as the «White Owl Award» is determined by the Academy only. The nominees for «Best Event Serie» and «Best Festival» are only chosen by public. The top 10 voting will take place from the 8th of November until the 20th of November 2016. The second voting phase will be from the 1st of December until the 31st of December 2016. In this phase the top 3 and therefore the winner in each category will be elected. The top 3 will be presented in January. The winners will be announced and honoured at the Award Show on the 21st of February 2017 at Komplex 457 in Zurich.
Good to know: after every phase the votes will be totally reset.

Between the 11th of January and the 7th of February 2017 you’ve got the possibility to join the «winner voting competition». You can give your tip on which one of the top 3 nominees (in every category) will be the lucky winner.
