Swiss Nightlife Award 2015: These are the winners!

For the first time the sixth Swiss Nightlife Award, presented by Carlsberg, took place on a Sunday. Again, the much sought-after owl awards have been given to the most liked and committed heads of the Swiss nightlife.

Between the winners there are names like DJ Antoine or the Montreux Jazz Festival. The Lifetime Award has been handed over to techno god Arnold «Nöldi» Meyer. For the very first time a White Owl Award has been presented. The advancement award sums up the twelve owls and is determined by the SNA organising committee. The first awardee is the young producer Nicolas Haelg.

This year, two of the Award Owls go to Basle – to name it : to DJ Antoine (Best EDM DJ) and to the Club Nordstern (Best Club). This is already the fourth (and maybe the last) award for the club, which is going to close down soon. Four of the winners are located in the French part of Switzerland : «People In The City» (Best Event), «Electrosanne Festival» (Best Big Event), «Green Giant» (Best Open Format DJ) and the Montreux Jazz Festival (Best Festival). The White Owl Award is directly determined by the organising committee and went to the producer Nicolas Haelg. The new award is given to people working in nightlife business, which can’t be considered in the twelve regular categories.

The this years Lifetime Award went to Arnold «Nöldi» Meyer. The evening was hosted by Serap Yavuz and Marco Fritsche, supported by Midi Gottet and Guy Landolt, which acted as comedy side-kicks. They made fun of laudators such as Miss Switzerland Lauriane Sallin, Martin Stricker, Alex Flach or Dani König.
